FIND THE BEER YOU LOVE, HERE IN THE GORGE

There are plenty of brewery tours out there, but few compare to this self-guided, beer-lover’s, outdoor adventure. Yes, you read that correctly, OUTDOOR adventure. Breweries in the Gorge (B.I.G) features 11 award-winning craft breweries, all nestled in the Columbia River National Scenic Area, where dual mountain views, dense forests and grand river vistas set the stage for the tastings. Whether you’re taking in the views on your drive, sharing a toast from a brewery patio, or grabbing to-go beer for your hike, you’ll indeed be on the tastiest, outdoor adventure EVER.

To ensure you miss nothing, and “drink” in everything, B.I.G has created a handy-dandy map detailing the location of each brewery. Best of all, when you visit each location, brewery staff will give you a stamp to add to your map/passport. And if you’re lucky enough to visit 9 of the 11 breweries, you’ll get a B.I.G collector’s-edition pint glass! Just show your stamped passport to the staff at your last brewery, to receive your reward.

HERE’S YOUR STEP-BY-STEP GUIDANCE:

01:

DOWNLOAD YOUR MAP/PASSPORT

Make sure you download the map at the link above and have a printed copy on-hand for your adventure. Each person in your party must have their own map, and collect their own stamps to receive the collectors-edition pint glass at the last stop.

02:

CHOOSE YOUR ROUTE

While some of the breweries are within walking distance of one another, others are not. We ask that you drink responsibly and have a designated driver. Also note, there is a $2.00 toll for passenger cars & pickups crossing the bridge; walking and cycling is prohibited.

03:

COLLECT STAMPS FROM EACH BREWERY

Each participating B.I.G brewery will have the passport stamps on hand, but don’t forget to ask for one! To receive your free pint glass, you MUST have nine stamps from different breweries in your passport.

04:

TAKE IT ALL IN

Each of the 11 featured breweries offers more than just delicious beer. Some offer facility tours, many have incredible views, and others have convenient take-out windows. Whatever you find most important, don’t miss it! Make sure to browse the amenities of each brewery ahead of time via the BREWERIES page, to ensure the day-of, you can take it all in.
